Dani is a graduate student in MCiP graduate group and is currently doing a summer rotation in the Gelli Lab. Dani was awarded an NIH Fellowship for the summer. Dani was also awarded the Cota Robles Fellowship for her graduate work.
Phylicia was awarded the Presidents Dissertation Fellowship. This is a prestigious award and Phylicia is highly deserving of it.
Javier is a graduate student in the Microbiology Graduate Group and he has recently joined the Gelli Lab.
Phylicia presented her abstract at the 2016 ASM MICROBE conference and was awarded a Minority Travel Fellowship from ASM and a Fellowship from MMSA.
Sarisa’s abstract at the ASM MICROBE 2016 conference hosted in Boston, June 2016, was selected as one of THE BEST STUDENT ABSTRACTS!
